Increase the yeast killer drops by one additional each day (2 drops day 2, 3 day 3, 4 day 4, and so on until you run out).
You will eat the exact same meal lunch and dinner, every day until you get to your goal. No break. No cheating. Yes it sounds boring, but it doesn't end up being boring.
Tell me by email your weight every morning. You are going to weigh after you get up. In the raw. After you pee. Email me okay? Pinky swear?
You are going to ignore days you do not lose pounds because on those days your body is absorbing empty fat cells and you are losing inches and shrinking. All the energy is going into that process, so you won't lose or won't lose as much. If you have an intestinal yeast infection, this will cure it. If not, you will be very intestinally healthy, so just do it. Those of us who eat a lot of sweets, or a lot of stuff like processed white flour that is easily turned into sugar in the body, have the potential to develop an intestinal yeast infection along the way, which then craves more sweets, etc. I suggest people just treat it just in case, because after the diet is done, you will rebound if you have one and the diet is perfectly ph balanced, so it helps with the eradication.
Your first 3 days, you are going to go crazy and eat so much junk and fat that you throw up and cry. Well try to get close to throwing up and crying anyway! :) But I am serious - you don't do this, just quit now. Yes it is that important. You MUST top off healthy fat stores in your body, or your body has trouble for a week or two as it tries to do that and balance external calorie intake with internal calorie consumption. It also helps the body to not be stingy and give up the fat. The higher initial weight loss days 4 through 10, the quicker you will lose weight from then on!
You are going to stay at whatever level of exercise you are at from 2 weeks before you start, all the way through the diet, and you are going to be sooooo religious about it, so that it is the same precise, and exact amount every week. Every day if you can. Best yet is if you don't exercise, but you need 2 weeks of no exercise before you start if you are currently exercising. It takes the body 2 weeks to adjust calorie processes with a change in exercise level. But you can exercise if you want with this diet. Just have to do it consistently.
I am going to help you. I am going to be your accountability partner and adviser. I need complete honesty. Just tell me what you did right or wrong if need be. Daily. If you run into a snag, I am going to help you figure it out.

Another note from Dan (6/26)...
Here is why I gave Mel and everyone else this advice. When I initially did my weight loss, I tried to figure out how I could try to make the food limitations on the Simmeons protocol, just as interesting as they are off the diet. I spent way too much time thinking about what to make and how I was going to make it and dwelling on food so much makes you cheat. It just does.
My brother had been very successful at the injecting version of the diet and I asked his advice and he told me that his best success was when he ate the exact same thing for every meal. I started the same and boom, I was down the rest of my weight and through with the diet. It was so unexpectedly crazy. I was in a little shock. I wasn't hungry and I wasn't bored with the food choice at all, which is not what I expected, and it all went by so fast.
Here is why; Your hypothalamus pre-plans energy usage. How much it expects you to consume externally, and then what it needs to convert from fat stores. In my experience, what you eat today has the biggest effect on this process a day and a half to 2 days from now. Cheat and consume a bunch of calories today, and you are hungry tomorrow and the next day. IF I cheat on the diet, I will be hungry not the next meal or two, but the third. If I can just get past that hunger, I will not be hungry any more.
It is because the body expects that what you consume at any given meal, is the new amount you will consume at every meal. With hCG in the system, you can push the hunger a day because of all the calories from fat in your bloodstream. But you will pay a hunger toll.
On the diet, just remember that hunger means your body is doing well. Days you have hunger at all and don't cheat tend to be your biggest weight loss days.
So, this is a short-cut. If you eat the same lean meal every meal, every day, you are getting enough vitamins minerals, and enough calories from brain function and muscle repair, and it is ultra consistent, so your body just runs like a fine-tuned machine. Your weight loss is maximized.
Also, on the first three days of the diet, you must load right. Your normal fat stores have got to be topped off or you can struggle in the beginning. Because we are heavy, we are always watching what we eat. Yea, we blow it and consume too much, but the problem is accentuated because of the processes of our body. It all kind of works against us - we eat too much so it isn't cataloged by the hypothalamus, but then when we try to take the weight off, and it can't get to what it didn't catalog, so it eats the normal fat stores instead.
We have to get all our normal fat stores healthy, to be successful on this diet, because if not, the body struggles to get them topped off and it interferes for a week or two. So on day one, two and three, eat so much that you are sick, sick, sick of food. And then keep eating. Eat the fatest, sweetest, sugary stuff. And eat so much you gag. And then keep on eating. If you do, you will have big weight losses initially, and big weight losses initially sets a pattern for weight loss that you actually keep and you will lose weight faster.
A third thing mentioned above is water. Why do I mention water? It is important for many reasons. It helps you feel full. Also, if you don't drink enough, your body has to adjust and yank more water out of what you consume and so it interferes with the intake process, and then also your body decides, well it better keep all available water and goes into bloat-mode. It retains the water for a day or two or more and your weight loss is impacted. But most importantly is it's use in the fat utilization process - once the body consumes the fat out of the cell, it consumes the empty cell too. This is where your body gets all the vitamins and minerals it needs, and is why you don't have to take supplements on this diet. This process of cell absorption take a lot of water. If you don't drink enough water, then the above negatives happen and it impacts your weight loss. If someone tells me they are not losing weight, I start looking at water consumption first. Remember reading about the apple day? Do you know what the apple day is doing? It is hydrating you so your body will stop retaining water.
Consistency is also very important to the way your body plans energy usage. That's why I advise to eat lunch at the same time every day. And dinner too. My experience is at 10:45am sharp, I get hungry. Same at 4:30 to 4:45pm. That's my body. You will have something similar. Be consistent and do the above things and you will succeed with flying colors!
Notice the yeast advice too. If someone is having trouble with their weight loss, this is another area I go after. I figure we all have the perfect environment for intestinal yeast to flourish - too many sweets unbalances the ph is a way that yeast can flourish over the probiotics in our intestines. This allows the yeast to root in and cause big problems that you don't even know are yeast. The diet is perfectly ph balanced, which is one of the things you need to beat a yeast infection. So why not take advantage of the situation and treat any yeast infection with yeast killer and probiotics? I felt that after I treated for the intestinal yeast infection I had, I had much more clarity of thought. I felt generally better and all the sweet craving went away!
Also, being very scientific about this diet, weighing every morning, weighing the meat and watching everything closely, helps you take it more seriously, which helps you stick to it and achieve your goals. So that is important too.

Idea though is to follow the strict diet I laid out.
This is normally a last choice for people who tried it their own way first (it was for me).
If you follow the strict diet, then it is easy for me to advise and I can easily do it. If not, then it is much harder if you run into trouble, because then I have to understand everything you are and have been putting into your body. So as a free service, you would need to follow the strict diet.
Of course I am always available to help people to try to figure out why they are stalling or not losing, etc, regardless.

Dan your the Man! (hey that rhymes) I'll be starting back on HCG in few days and I'd love to email you weekly (and daily if need be) I know its not advised but for my own sanity I only weight myself weekly. not only does it give me something to look froward to, but it also help me stay encouraged and not falter on days I only lose .2 lbs.
My fiance gives me encouragement but he's like 140 soaking wet and can eat ten baby elephants a day and not gain weight, not to mention he's never been on the diet before.
Anyway we (as in Dan and the ladies or anyone else who emails you for support) should totally IM or mass email each other. A group of support is exactly what we need!

Dan...You are encouraging! I was on the Relexa program last month did very well losing 20 pounds towards the end of the program , I did not follow it correctly and now gained most of the weight back. I ordered your kit and ordered the HCG which I have recieved all I am planning to start this again and hope to do it the right way. Towards the MP, I did not do the right stuff, so I ended up eating carbs and from their , I started my old eating habits. I wanted to know why is it that the Relexa program is done for 30 days and online it states we can do the program for 40 days? I was weighing on the first time I took the HCG Relexa program 225.6 after the thirty days, I weighed 204. Now I am 217.8. I cannot continue doing this to myself. I have health conditions that will get worse if I do not rectify my eating habits and my weight. I really want this to work. I would live to have you as my coach if possible. I need to lose at least 50 to 60 lbs. Is it true that the second time around when doing the HCG diet , one does not lose as much weight as the first time? I hope not because I really need the same or better results from the first time.

The Releana method and the original Simmeon's Pounds and Inches is what we are doing here.
There are no immunity issues with the sublingual, so we don't need to stop.
The mix is good for ~48 days, per Belusci who developed it, so we just made it 40 days per round.
That matches what people do who inject and have to skip 2 days a week for immunity issues (to prolong the round)(42 days per round for them verses 40 for us).
Frankly, it is not possible to dose 0.25ml exactly, so you end up taking a day or two off for too much a little at a time each day. No biggie.
You have to read and follow the diet to the letter. Load heavily, and I mean really load heavily - overdue it - on the first three days. If you do, your weight loss will be high like before and you won't have any other issues like weakness or hunger.
Water is super, super important because you are reabsorbing the empty cell as you lose and that takes water.
Try hard not to cheat at all. Don't allow that door open at all. If you do, you will lose super fast.
As you come off the VLCD phase and into the next phase, you got to behave. You are setting the standard for your body. You essentially double the VLCD diet in this phase and you RELIGIOUSLY obey the steak day rules (read up on it).
Then on the "rest of your life" phase, you can eat what you want, AS LONG AS you maintain your weight. If you don't you got to "steak day" it. You have to force your body to adapt to the new normal weight in this way. Once you are having success, maintaining that weight becomes easy. You body just expects it.
However, go back to the old way for a prolonged time, and you will revert. It's that simple.
The idea is, get the weight off so you can exercise more comfortably, and then get doing the other stuff you should be doing to be healthy. Exercise, eat right (within reason), and watch your weight daily.
I can't count how many people that were heavy and nothing else had worked and this diet plan came along and it not only worked, it worked in spades! They not only lost the weight, they shrunk and were a new person. And still are. They didn't revert. They just were there new skinny self.
You can do it. The hCG makes it so easy, so add a little determination and you will be there in no time.

I want to thank you for your quick response. I really appreciate it. Your going to kill me, (lol). I started the HCG protocol on Wednesday, June 1. 6/8 & 6/9 were my wonderful loading days. It was Awesome I really loaded. On Friday 6/10 was day 3 and the begining of my VLCD. I started on the protocol weighing 217.8 on June 8. My weight today is 213.2. I was doing really good until I decided to work a night shift, I came home sleeped for 4 hours and had to get up to finalize an assignment I must submit for school. I have been anxious and my mine occupoied with eating junk, which lead me to the kitchen to eat 4 ice-cream and 2 peices of melba toast. I know its embarrasing to say. I have had self control these couple of days. I dont know what wrong with me toady? What should I do for the remainder of the day. I think I should stay away from all food for the rest off the day, I will drink water, water ansd more water for the remainder of the day. I dont want to gain weight. I also just weighed myself and the scale states 212, is that a true weight? Does that mean I will gain the entire 5 lbs I lost for cheating today. Pleade guide me and let me know.

Weigh only morning after you get up and pee. If you cheat it affects weight right away, but affects hunger a day and a half to two away. Struggle through your hunger and it will be gone after that meal.
You can split your meals up so it is more like snacking if you need to.
Also, diet soda or diet green tea might be good for you because they help you feel full.
Best way to treat cheating is to leave it in the past. You did it. So now move on, realizing it added a little to your weight loss goal. You will still beat any other diet.
But don't weigh mid-day. When you weigh next morning it is less than expected and it helps for motivation.

So far so good started weight 217, as of today 209. I am feeling good. I need some vitamins. but don't know which to take. While I was on the Relana regimen, I was given Pro C, & Betten-Aid, and Coenzyme compositum (HeeL, do you have any advice on resonable and less expensive dietary supplements.
Not really. Not supposed to have to take vitamins or minerals because your body gets all it needs when it consumes the empty cell.
I do recommend a good pro-biotic though.

I want to tell you how much I appreciate your blog and all of the hCG information you provide. I have referred to it frequently. I ordered your kit and now my daughter and I are on our 16th day of the VLCD and are down about 9 lbs each.
In your last blog you included the following paragraph and I would like to do this for myself but need to understand better before I start. My question is do you follow these directions for only 4 days and then stop and if not could you explain the duration of both the yeast killer and the pro-biotics?

Anti-yeast drops: increase an additional drop each day until you run out of the drops.
Capsules are always the same amount, 3 morning, 2 night and take throughout VLCD at least.
