Really need to behave, because although at first I was holding, last 2 days I went up a couple pounds. TRYing to get hCG.

Up 1.8 lbs.

I am out of hCG as of last Friday and out of it in my system and yesterday became VERY difficult, as you might expect, so I ate the correct type stuff, but still gained.

I am awaiting my shipment from Best Discount Pharmacy (3 weeks and a day since ordering). I cannot suggest this place. It is my first time trying them.

It also takes a while to answer and they are all promises.

Down 2.6 lbs and I still cheated. Once you start it is so hard to stop and I have found my will power goes away when things aren't great between me and my wife. Don't think I will win anything in the work contest this week.

Up 2.8 lbs after not making it again. I know it will come off equally fast if I can just behave. New resolve today. Need to drink more water too.

Up 3.8 lbs after 1 day of not fasting and eating whatever I wanted. Big mistake.

Only 0.8 lbs, but I worked on the barn so it was expected. No cheating though. 229.8 lbs was how far I got last time and I dwelt there a week, so I may plateau this time. We'll see.

Down 1.4 I won my work contest for the week (means I didn't have to pay the $5 weigh fee), with their scale showing a 15 pound loss for the week and 5% body weight loss. I did not show that much loss, but likely had a weight savings by clothes choice and the fact I weighed first day after lunch and after consuming my daily water intake and then today having not eaten. Anyway, fasting going good. More hunger than normal as can be expected, but doable. Hopefully I will get past that. Feel a little brain tired in the afternoons, but not as much as normal when fasting at this point of the fast.

Down 2.2 lbs Was hungry last night, but got euphoric and feel that way today too, so I know the hCG has kicked in. I missed it like 4 out of 5 nights after restarting and this was when I was 2 1/2 days solid taking it. Did cheat on the fast last night though. Not a ton, but too much obvoiusly. Doing okay so far today.

Down 2.0 lbs, mostly due to drinking enough fluids. Let the fasting begin. At 12:45 PM, a bit hungry, but not like normal fasting I would say. We'll see how this works out and how long I can go. I would expect I can go until I get my weight, but might not recover from muscle damage due to working out or really pushing it, since that is what your daily protein does for you. One thing I know from having done fasting in the past is that without the hCG, you are hungry for the first 3 or 4 days and then the hunger goes away completely until between day 21 and day 40. Depending on the amount of fat on your body, you will get extremely hungry at about that point. I never did a complete fast for longer than 14 days and even when I was skinny in my early 20's, I never got the overwhelming hunger. All this goes along well with the VLCD diet and the Simeon's protocol. We know what we eat today affects us a couple days down the road because it takes the body several days to adjust the amount it take from fat stores. You hunger today is based upon what your body expected you to consume, based upon what you consumed (food intake) from a few days ago. Once you run out of stored fat, you body will start to take from the fat needed to be kept in places like padding of feet and organs, and it will turn on the immense hunger pangs to get you to intake food. This is when you should stop dieting or fasting. For me, it was below 184 lbs, as I did not get hungry and that's where I stopped last time, because everyone around me said I was too skinny looking. I think I look best between 200 and 210, but the weight table say that is overweight.

No gain or loss. Haven't been doing the diet really, since chicken isn't made and all that. Substituted egg-whites since my wife left hard boiled eggs before she went on travel.

I am going to try to fast, so I will let you know if the diet can be done with no food if necessary.

Weigh in day for my company contest is finally here, so I will begin the VLCD again.

At work I weighed 254.6 in clothes and shoes and after lunch. I wanted it to be high to start.

Funny that though I have porked out all week to load and ready for the weigh in, I gained 0.6 lbs. I was a little higher yesterday though.

I was hungry because as you know if you read my blog, what you ate 2 or 3 days ago affect what you body expects for food and calorie intake today. If you hang on through the hunger through 2 to 3 days, you will settle in and not be hungry (unless you have something like an intestinal yeast overgrowth or something like that-also discussed in my blog).

So here we go again, with new motivation to behave and get down to business.

My work contest is 6 weeks, which ought to coincide nicely with the amount I want to lose, if I can behave. ("I think I can, I think I can, I think I can, I know I can, I know I can" -Little Train That Could).

I have restarted taking hCG. I also allowed myself to eat freely since mid-December since I knew I was restarting and because my company is doing a contest (Biggest Loser style). The contest starts today. I started loading yesterday and taking hCG again.

So, I am back on and have had a pretty decent weight gain since I stopped around Thanksgiving (up 9.8 lbs). Although still down more than 10 pounds since restarting in October.
