My "how to" on mixing sublingual hCG, using a self-developed approximation of the Releana formulation, with links to my helpful guides to do Dr. Simeon's "Pounds and Inches" Very Low Calorie Diet. And oh yah...I also blogged my experience.

observations
I, from time to time, get very negative and even bordering on hateful posts (comments), and I typically just delete them. They are from people who are anti-Simeon's protocol and are looking for any reason to hate on the plan. This is why I must approve the posts. The overwhelming majority get approved and posted, even if somewhat negative, which is rare. I just delete the folks who attack or have an ax to grind and are taking it out on me.
I don't make a penny doing this. Never have. I just wanted to try it for myself and see if I could #1, make it work, and #2, help people not have to reinvent the wheel.
I wouldn't still be blogging and still be doing the protocol if I didn't 100% believe in it. As a matter of fact, it takes me a bit longer to lose weight, precisely because I know I will eventually get there. Heck, tell me any other diets where failing means you lost 30 pounds in 5 months and have kept it off for an additional 2 months without trying!?!?
I don't mind experimenting to see what will happen, because I treat it like a science experiment and report the findings.
I have plenty of relatives AND friends AND Simeon's Protocollers who followed the protocol to the T and had the exact success predicted by Dr. Simeons. I myself finally got serious the first time I did this and actually followed the protocol to the T and it worked great and I kept it off until I got the intestinal yeast infection 5 months after completing the diet, and it quickly boomeranged me (yeast LOVES sugar). That is a known cause and a known solution and I now recommend a daily probiotic for everyone on or off the protocol. It is healthy. And it has obvious benefits.
This time around (2nd time doing the protocol), I tried the whole fast thing and I think it has caused my lingering constipation problems and I think those are now past and it will be easier to "show" the weight loss that was already happening but not showing because of clogged bowels.
Now let me address "lynn" and others;
IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DO THIS, THEN DON'T. Stop attacking it. It works. It is verifiable today as it was in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. THE HYPOTHALMUS IS RESET.
Is this protocol some kind of magic fairy dust that will all of a sudden transform you into a beautifully fit princess or hansom physically fit prince, who NEVER has to watch what they eat or exercise? NO.
Let me say that once more - NO. Emphatically NO.
If you pork out over time, guess what? You will GAIN WEIGHT!! Will you lose it easier on the Simeon's Protocol than any other diet? Yes. At least any I have tried or heard of. This diet as any other diet requires will power and a commitment to keeping fit.
This just seems to make it easier during the hCG taking to lose weight.
Afterward you have the benefit that if you ACTIVELY MANAGE your weight, you can easily take the extra pound or two off, because the hypothalamus is reset and your body KNOWS where it put the weight and can easily go get it and dispose of it IF YOU DON'T CONSUME the calories.
After the diet, life will be easier being a lighter weight, but you need exercise to stimulate your metabolism, or else you will have difficulty maintaining weight, unless you eat like a mouse.
Anyway, my thoughts. Don't hate on it or please don't bother reading my blog.
OH and by the way, I get a zillon compliments about the loss of the 30 pounds and people tell me to stop here, because they think I look perfectly normal and proportional. I just want another 20 pounds to be nearer what is considered a normal weight by the Drs. and all those medium size clothes I bought last time will fit too!! Already wearing some of them. XL to M. Pretty cool.

Glad to see you are blogging again. The HCG "allowable" food list I recieved has more veggies on the list...... Green beans, brocolli, and mushrooms and for fruits.... cherries and 1/2 a peach. Can we are can we not have these on this diet? Or is it all trial and error. :)
Glad to see you are posting your blogs again.
The list of veggies and fruits I have for my HCG diet has a bit more options than the original diet. Green beans, brocolli, mushrooms, squash, cherries and preaches. All trial and error and should not stray. :)
Thanks. Not sure where you got your list, but lists have been expanded typically by people who understand why Dr. Simeons list contains what it does (sugar type and all that).
Beans have been a no-no though, so I questions that, as have been peaches, pears and cherries. I'd tread lightly there, but if it works, it works.
